SANOS moves its clinic from Consolidated Mall to new facilities on the second level of the shopping center at 230 Gautier Benítez Street in Caguas
CAGUAS, January 18, 2022 – The new SANOS health clinic at Gautier 230 has opened, offering residents of Caguas and nearby towns a range of physical and mental health services for children and adults, a new Women's Clinic, and soon, vaccination services.
“These new SANOS facilities are much larger and more comfortable for serving our patients, with more parking and fewer architectural accessibility limitations. We are already offering primary care, pediatrics, psychology, and nutrition services. We are pleased to announce that we will soon be opening a women's clinic there with additional gynecology and obstetrics services. We will announce soon when we will begin offering vaccinations and other health services later on,” said César Montijo, executive director of SANOS.
The new clinic is located on the second floor of the shopping center at 230 Gautier Benítez Street in Caguas and has an elevator. The medical team that previously provided services at the SANOS Clinic in the Consolidated Mall has moved to this new clinic, which will also be joined by new staff.
“SANO’s mission is to guarantee health services to the community, and now we can do so in a larger, more efficient space, with top-notch professionals as always to care for our patients,” commented Montijo.
SANOS at Gautier 230 will also be one of the locations where SANOS will be distributing thousands of free at-home COVID-19 tests. SANOS, as part of the 330 network of centers, is participating in this distribution of COVID-19 tests in Caguas, provided by the federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The program distributes the Quidel QuickVue COVID-19 self-tests. These rapid antigen tests can be administered at home, and results are available in 10 minutes.
