How do X-rays work?
- X-rays are capable of penetrating the human body, reproducing the body parts.
- The different shades of color in an X-ray indicate which part of the body is being evaluated:
- Bone structures: white
- Fat and muscles: shades of gray
- Air-filled cavities like lungs: dark
- X-rays allow a detailed view of the inside of the human body without the need for surgery.
- X-rays do not cause any pain for the patient
A doctor's order is required to perform the x-rays.
